In an active shooter incident, one of the most dangerous times in the interval between when the shooter enters the building until law enforcement arrives. Virtually all lockdown training directs individuals to "lock or barricade the door".  Unfortunately, most classrooms and offices require the teacher to find their key and then enter the hallway to lock the door - or to attempt to find and move heavy objects to barricade it.  Additionally, many doors have a window near the door handle, which can be shot out and the door then opened from the outside.

We provide and install a product called The Boot, which is a small steel device that can be quickly deployed, preventing entry into a classroom during an active shooter scenario.  Equally important, it is the only device of its kind that allows emergency personnel to open the door from the outside within seconds, letting safety in.

Our Products

We offer a system of products that create an additional, but unobtrusive, layer of security that has been missing until now.  When used in combination, this system effectively deters or delays a hostile intruder during a lockdown scenario.
